Planned Parenthood clinics in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming continued to provide care on Saturday, a day after an attack at one of the organization's facilities on Colorado Springs that killed three people and injured nine.

On Friday, Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountain tweeted that the organization had taken strong security measures as its Colorado locations continued to provide care.

"While our Colorado Springs health center will remain closed while we rebuild, our 28 other regional health centers will remain open, providing compassionate, high-quality health care. No matter what," Vicki Cowart, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, said in a statement, adding that the organization served 103,000 people in the region each year.

Police have identified Robert Lewis Dear as a suspect in the shooting. It's not yet clear whether or not Planned Parenthood was a target in the incident.
